    the other day i took it out and shot . it was middle 30s to 40 degrees . never had a problem with it before but when i got to the 7th or 8 th round the magazine would pop out and it would not cycle.ive shot thousand rounds thru with no problems ,could it have been the weather?

    What is a S&W c?

    To your question... Were you using gloves? If so, you were likely hitting the mag release. Even if you weren't wearing gloves, hitting the mag release with you thumb during recoil is the most likely culprit. Let someone else shoot it to see if the problem persists, and try shooting it yourself with a different hold, that does not leave your thumb near the release button.
