    really, REALLY hated mine, sold it ASAP <puuun>.

    Like having a jinglebell on your AR, I prefer a QD socket.

    Im trying out 2 of the ASAPs now, one on my AR and ther on my sons. Once a sling is attached I dont have any noise issues with them.

    But w/o a sling attached they are noisier and have a habit of swinging the single point attachment around getting involved in your grip on the pistol grip....

    All in all so far we like them, especially when performing off hand drills w/ sling attached. Allows really free movement from one side to the other.

    Yea that's their strongest attribute IMHO, very smooth transitions to/from strong side to/from support side.
