Mail Left on Front Porch???

Just did a walk around here at stately Freeman Manor. Today's mail was left under the mat on the front porch instead of the mail box.

Anyone know why this would be? Calling tomorrow to complain but that is just silly.

I get mail left on my porch frequently. Especially if they're delivering things too bulky for the mailbox. Doesn't bother me in the least. I have a chair there that suits the purpose just fine. I live in a good neighbourhood. Might check you mailbox to see if it's full or something.

Like Mr. Jarral said, our maillady will leave bulky items in places other than the mail box. I just have to remember to check the bed of my truck when I leave because that's her favorite place to leave it.
