the pa isnt a real makraov nor is the cz

    +1

Polish P-64s, Hungarian PA-63s, and CZ-82s are not Makarovs, they just shoot 9x18.

Real Maks are Russian (Baikal IJ-70s mostly, but they have adjustable sights), E. German, Bulgarian, and the rare Chinese.

For the money, find a Bulgarian. They work just as well as the others and are the cheapest.

I bought my Russian IJ-70 for $190 about 3 years ago. Since the supply of Maks seems to be dwindling, I would say $225 is a good deal. They are amazing pistols no matter the price.

Only problem is that he doesn't want target sights and if someone is selling a military Russian Mak (non- IJ-70) for $225, they are an idiot (in which case BUY IT NOW!!!). IJ-70s have adjustable target sights. That leaves him with Bulgies and E. Germans mostly.
