If it were up to me, it would be law that anyone, accusers, witnesses, police, prosecutors, or judges, who deliberately/maliciously cause an innocent person to be charged or punished for a crime of which that person was wrongly accused, again deliberately and/or maliciously, to face a mandatory sentence of the greatest punishment that the falsely accused could face. This would also include those like the appeals court judge that rejected an appeal with the declaration that only procedural error is grounds for appeal. Evidence of innocence is not acceptable.

FUBAR. I don't care how badly I need to catch someone. I'm not going to stick something on someone just to close a case. One thing I've learned as a cop is that patience pays off, and yields better results.
