“Always treat the gun as if it’s loaded. Even if you’re sure it’s unloaded, still treat it as if its loaded. Never point a gun at anything or anyone you’re not willing to destroy. Treat it as loaded all the time,” said Felton.
:+1: to officer Felton for knowing and sharing the gun rules.

Wow...that's too bad. Prayers for the family.

Forgetting just one time is all it takes for disaster to rear its head..

And hate to see or hear of things like this. RIP and hoping it wasn't an INGOer.

There are (4) rules that always apply. Always

I see you are new to INGO. Haven't you heard? The Four Rules are outdated. It's OK to point at gun at yourself because the Four Rules are old and busted.

Horrific incident, thought and prayers for the family.

For the rest of us, the Four Rules will save your life and those around you. Let's listen again to the man that painted the signs:

No, just old school I guess.

So sad but preventable. Totally preventable.

    Apply purple, church, where needed.

But, yes, me too. Every time I read that "the Four Rules are outdated, come buy a franchise from me and I'll teach you how to break them" nonsense on INGO I think about the hundreds of cases such as this that have been posted on INGO.

Well stated as always........These things set my hair on fire. The rules are there to prevent these things and they will. When butt brains and dip :poop: post that the rules no longer apply I put them on my "I will never....ever stand close to you at the range list"

I can't find my purple dang it.

Tragic, but it's tough for me to understand this. Is there ever a good reason to point a gun at yourself, loaded or not?

How do you even do that? Did he drop it and grab for a falling gun?

I can see sitting down on the couch and popping yourself in the leg or hand but how do you get the muzzle aimed at your chest??
