I was in Dicks last night just wasting time looking at their guns and noticed a marlin model 60 it didn't have the normal flat brown stock. This one had alot of wood grain looked very nice for the normal price of 169.00 . Does anyone know if this is the new standard stock?

By the way if I decide to replace mine with one of the new ones I will buy it at a real gun store not Dicks.

The Connersville Walmart had one and I looked at it. The stock was loose and the fit was t wen nice. The furniture was pretty but it wasn't a Marlin! I passed on it

The one I have now I bought 2 years ago I have no problems with function but it looks like the sights might be slightly canted. I didn't mind because in new I was going to mount a scope on it.
