Marlin XT-22 Scope Mounts

I've been squirrel hunting twice this year, and have determined I can't see the darned varmits like I used to (I'm getting old). I bought an XT last year, still using iron sights and would like to try a scope now.

Any recommendation on a good scope ring/scope base combination? I have a few 1" 3x9's that will work fine, but I recently realized the XT-22 isn't a Ruger 10/22..., in other words there is not a lot of information out there.

Any help appreciated.

if you happen to be at the 1500 tomorow i carry everything you need except a picatinny rail. this is the line of scope i would recomend for you
