That is why I like Varget; it is temperature stable. I have shot over electronic targets at 35 - 105 degrees and know that the velocities are stable. Both my short and long range loads are similar at 23.5 gr.
This last year I added mid-range into the mix, although I still use my xtc rifle. It has helped my wind reading tremendously.

My coyote poker has a WOA built upper with a 1-7.7 twist Krieger and shoots Hornady 75bthp well under MOA. I no longer reload so having a factory ammo options works great for me.

Huh. A rarity. Highpower guys talking Highpower on INGO. :patriot:

Wish there was more of it!

In regards to round count, rule of thumb is that a cut rifled barrel (Bartlein, Krieger) will usually give 4000-4500 rounds before starting to open up at 600, and button barrels (Wilson, Criterion, Green Mtn, etc) more like 3000ish. Most of these will still hammer at 200 yards long past their peak accuracy at 600 falls off.

I will say, however, the original Rock River barrel on my service rufle is an outlier. My best guess is that I had about 2500 rounds on it BEFORE I started shooting highpower, and probably had 4000 MORE on it when I took it off. I finally pulled it after I legged out at Perry last year...after 6 years if plinking, I earned all 30 points with that same damn barrel. It doesn't owe me a thing. Don't expect every Wilson blank to be that good, but it's a data point.
