I recently purchased a VZ 24, and today I received a B-Square scope mount for it that replaces the rear sight, allowing me to mount a scope in the scout position. My question is, do I have to disassemble the whole rifle in order the rear sight or can the sight be removed with disassembling the whole rifle?

Should just be able to remove the rear barrel band, take the upper hand guard off and remove the rear sight. No need to take the whole rifle down, but that would only involve a couple more screws and a couple seconds. Mausers are easy to strip.
