If they're going to work in the US, they ought to start sending them 1040's every year and siccing the IRS on them for not paying their taxes--that should put a stop to it.

Nobody in Washington wants to address this.

300 times in 18 years is hardly an issue of ONLY this administration. :tinfoil: I think that the manufacturers that have factories in mexico spend a significant amount of money to keep us not-at-war with mexico. Specifically maybe one that was majority owned by the .gov for a couple years.

Also, while we're on the subject of 300 times in 18 years.... remind me again how long ago NAFTA was enacted?

The Mexican Army accidentally comes into the USA and Americans are ready to snipe and kill them.

The US Military intentionally invades the Middle East for 12+ years, racking up an astounding kill count. Anybody over there who doesn't like it is a terrorist deserving torture and death.

Starting to see what it feels like? Can you imagine how you might react if Mexico droned your family?

We definitely have a problem with our invasion habit, but the Mexican Army has been doing a whole lot of this over a long period of time with a border which is generally marked in a clear enough manner to eliminate ambiguity. Instances of the Army escorting drug shipments also erode their credibility in claiming it to be accidental in nature.

The Mexican army knows where the border is. Their many incursions into our country are NOT accidental. They are in fact an act of war.

Um. The US has not "invaded" the "Middle East". While the Iraq war might be dubious, in other cases we are responding to terrorist actions, in countries where the local government is unwilling or unable to stop the problem. The 1939 Poland was invaded. In 1945 East Prussia was not.

You seem to be arguing that the sins of the US justify the sins of Mexico. So basically we can never justify self-defense, nationally or personally actually, since the doctrine of sin you are promulgating here can quite as easily be applied to individuals as nations...

He can not help himself. His sole purpose in life is to bash our country......or so it seems.
His posts do open up some good conversation and debate but the post you are responding to is ridiculous. Those thugs know exactly where the border is. The citizens have no respect for it so why should the Army. They all still think Texas and California belong to them.

Mexican troops shooting an American civilian or 'drawing down' on a Border Patrol agent is not some 'accidental incursion' 'cause they 'forgot' where the border is.

That's called a 'gun battle', 'firefight', 'gunfight', you pick. In any and every case, return fire immediately, stop the threat. Arrest if there's anyone (left) to arrest.

Any comparison to events in the Mid-East is simply unthinking rhetoric.

What would actually be a better comparison is this:

The Mexican government starts launching missiles or drone strikes into southern Texas and Arizona in order to kill the American-side-of-the-border drug and gun smugglers to which the American government provides firearms (Fast & Furious, etc.), fully intending those weapons to be smuggled into Mexico and used to kill Mexican civilians and law enforcement.

Instead of the Mexican army protecting those gun and drug smugglers.

If this is happening on Obama's watch, it is his responsibility. The report is honest in revealing the fact that it's been happening for over almost two decades, but it doesn't make sense to point fingers at someone who isn't in office while it's going on, present day. The open and blatant invasion of America should not be tolerated. It seems like the governor should post his National Guard units on the border if the federal government continues to ignore what is happening.

They tried this once. I can't remember if it was Texas or Arizona, it's been too long, but I do recall that the feds put a stop to it.
