Michael Moore is a piece of :poop:. The only way I would pay to see a Michael Moore movie is if it was a documentary and he was in it and on fire. Oh and if I got to pi$$ on him to put it out.

Being the bully that I am I would keep the uh liquid and let it burn our on it's own. :):

The average American, whether Republican, Democrat, or "other", does not know what "capitalism" is, as evidenced by the persistent references to America's current economic system as "capitalist". Michael Moore has give me no indication that he rises above the masses in this regard, and the trailer for this movie pretty well re-affirms that assessment.

America has not been capitalist for nearly a century now. What we have is a socialist system disguised as a "mixed economy". There are small pockets of capitalism in sectors that are not yet completely under the government's thumb, especially in software, but as long as our government(s) persist in the promulgation of rules and regulations instead of the protection of property rights, we can only be described as "capitalist" with tongue firmly in cheek.

Meach, did you like Bowling For Columbine?

Michael Moore tried to blame the Columbine murders on Charleton Heston and K-Mart.

    I watched him.
Does he have some deformity? Looked like his feet were on the wrong legs. (inside out)

He also often times appeared to not understand what was transpiring. Seriously. I think he is seriously delusional.

watched in high school for my Film lit & journalism classes. The journalism used it as an example of corrupt reporting practices and how he would have been breaking the law if he claimed to be a reporter.

The film lit teacher used it as an examle of near perfect persuasion in a film (seeing as most of the studants bought into it by the end)

    It was an interesting analysis

However as far as me personally...Bowling for Columbine...No didn't like it

But I was a big fan of Rodger & Me, Canadian Bacon, And The Big One

And this new movie seems to go along the lines of those.

He sometimes raises some interesting questions and brings attention to questionable behavior, occasionally. But, I think he's a moron and a jerk. You don't learn anything from this guy, you just laugh. And, a lot of times, I think he does more exploiting than anything else.

    He's a fat tool.

For a guy that proclaims to be against capitalism, Micheal Moore sure does live pretty well with all of his success. Multiple homes in CA, NY, and a very nice, very large spread in northern Michigan to mention a few.

If he was doing what he does as a service to the poor - maybe he should put the proceeds to a worthy cause instead of his ever growing jowls.

They make that point, too, in Leno's interview with him. He said the studios agreed to open for free showings in some depressed markets, inspired by Leno's free Detroit concerts.

Not that I want to give him any credit for anything.

Most movies do this to hype up the release. I've been to several free showings in Cincinnati. The sneak previews are probably a tax write off. This isn't a noble cause, its marketing and good business practice.
