Next weekend I am going to a wedding at Camp Carlson, KY right near Fort Knox. I plan to take my firearm with me while I stay at my Friend's house the days prior, but would like to know the rules of just possessing my firearm in my suitcase or vehicle. My friend doesn't care if I carry, just not at their wedding events if it's even allowed. I have looked at the Fort Knox MWR website and didn't see anything.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

If it is on base, definitely a no go.
MWR is funded in part by the various military branches, thus is a military facility. Some of them have private ranges attached. Military site, so play by their rules on that one.
