Can anyone tell me the military specs. on the AR15 BCG (bolt carrier group) ?

I am specifically trying to find out about the YHM (Yankee Hill Machine) Bolt carrier assembly.

So far I have been told by YHM that they get them from Stag Arms and that they are mil-spec. That’s all they can tell me?

I contacted Stag Arms and they did say they do make the BCG for YHM, but they could not tell me if they had been HP or MPI tested.

Some guys argue that it really doesn’t matter that much about the HP/MPI testing, but I don’t know enough to have an informed opinion.

I guess my real question is "would you put a YHM Bolt Carrier Group in your AR15" and why or why not?

    Thanks in advance,

Yes I would run that bolt and carrier combo, and have plenty of peace of mind. I've heard repeatedly from reliable sources that Stag get's them from Continental Machine and Tool. They're up to USGI specs. Same as Colt, and BCM.
