Looking to build my bulgarian underfolder parts kit. Looking at my options the only two companys I've found is Oklahoma firing line and Lancaster arms. I've read to stay away from Lancaster arms. And ok wants 499 for a receiver.

Seeing if anybody had of any other opinions.

My advice is to be patient and keep checking the gun forums (here and any other forums that you are on) for sale section as well as gunbroker. You do see them pop up from time to time so just wait it out.

Before you jump the gun check out CNC Warrior. I built a milled yugoslavian M70 using virgin parts on one of their milled yugo receivers and it was top notch. So good that when I had to sell it i DID VERY WELL ON IT ;)

Ohio Ordnance has a milled receiver too, but it looks like a kit. They are usually at the 1500

Checked their site and they do not have the next 1500 on there.

AK nut here. I thought i saw Atlantic arms has a Bulgarian kit too. Get the Bulgarian barrel if possible...it is the best barrel out there for AKs.

Mike at The Firing Line in Oklahoma has built several AKs for me. He does outstanding work.

To everyone but Kirk: Before I ask this, I know accuracy is not the main concern with an AK. I also know they are reliable. Thanks in advance.

    How accurate are his AKs?

No experience with his Ak rifles so I hesitated to respond but the two specimens I have will decimate a torso at 320 yards with open sights. Good enough for me!

I have to admit, I don't get the milled AK thing. Seems like overkill.

I think I'll put up a milled barbed wire fence.
