Milling Done on Glock Slide

Anyone know of a gunsmith in Indiana who can mill the corners and do other work on my Glock 19 slide? There are a few gunsmiths (Glockworx, Bowie, etc.) who can do the work, but I want to check locally first.

Might check with AllenM on here. He just got a milling machine and has a decent eye for such things. Not sure if he has done any Glock work but he's an honest guy and will tell you up front what he can and cannot do.

You would need an FFL to do any professional gunsmithing for other people if I am not mistaken.

I don't know about being an FFL for just milling a slide assembly,as long as they are not taking possession of the frame,which is the registered part.

My understanding is that so long as you are not leaving a serialized portion of the weapon. (THE weapon as far as ATF sees it) you are good to go. HOWEVER. I'm not a lawyer... There will be a few of them on here shortly to better answer... my spidey sense says so. . .
