    Maybe this is a mod question, but here goes:

    This morning I started a thread about a shooting yesterday that involved an IMPD officer. I linked an article from WTHR-13. This afternoon, I noticed the thread had mysteriously disappeared.

    Anyone know where it went and why ? Did I break some rule that I'm not aware of ? :dunno:

    Typically, they just close them if it's a dupe thread that way, if you have your settings set to automatically subscribe to threads, you'll at least see it's still there but closed.

    If it was about the gun found in the national park we had 3 threads about the same thing. Need to use the search feature before posting.

    But dups happen. Merging them helps I think.
