    ok, they say it's capable of right or left hand deployment. It looks like it's one or the other as to how it's mounted on the car.

    This just means that they now have a higher chance to die in a pursuit of a BG.

    I think a portable device to lay on the road that is capable of firing the spike strip across the road with a 30+ foot wired (or wireless) remote would be much better suited.
