There are several options ranging from a used Savage Striker, TC Contender/Encore, Savage 110 PSC, Nosler 48 Custom Handgun, Bergara Sidekick and up to the Christenson arms in price. You can also build your own with the Pork Sword chassis system. However, if you only want a single shot then the Contender/Encore is the way to go. The Nosler would be the closest to the XP100 though in that it is a single shot bolt action but the they are around $1600+.

i will admit, i don't really like the contender.. i prefer a bolt action..
but the contender may be my option for a quick solution..
The Savage Striker is a nice bolt "pistol".
Of course, the 16" barrel gets a little unwieldy for off hand work.
This example is chambered for .308 Winchester.
I also like the fact that it is a left hand bolt.

If you don’t need to change calibers you don’t need a contender.

Savage 110 pcs is 223 308 350 legend and maybe a couple others but I don’t see them as short range varmint gun caliber outside the 223. Maybe in 300 blackout but I don’t know if they make one just only saw 223 208 and 350 led for sale. I handled one and the bolt is well weird.

I use a contender so I am biased to them like a Glock fanboy.

Sometimes the XPs turn up in the used market , was able to pick one up here back in Jan. , a 223. Have only fired it a few times but it looks like its going to be a good shooter. Also have the Contender Super 14 in 223 , a really good shooter. Also have a 357 and a couple of 22lr barrels for it.

And this one is now a 6.5 Grendel with new Cerakote by AllenM. Still looking for glass for the bottom two. I snagged Nosler ammo for the OG 221.
