monroe township conservation club membership

I am wanting to join Monroe township conservation club in Oakville, in and it says on their website $40 annual dues. I am hoping to get a response from a member as to when annual dues are collected. I do not want to join now if I have to pay again in January.

Is that club shotgun only? I've heard it was, but I swear I've heard rifle fire while visiting a friend that lives real near there.
