    Each $10 increase in fees reduces the percent of adults with permits by about a half a percentage point.
    An actual permit needing to be held should not even be a thing. Arizona does it right with allowing citizens to carry without a permit as long as your not a felon and what not.

    An actual permit needing to be held should not even be a thing. Arizona does it right with allowing citizens to carry without a permit as long as your not a felon and what not.

    Even at 8 days for my wait, that can be too long in some circumstances. In a perfect world, we'd have an electronic system that gives you instant approval or decline (like credit card companies), and allow you to carry by "putting you in the system" even while your license is in the mail.
