    I was wondering if anyone knows which side of the Oil/Solvent container is which. One side has a Cyrillic character that looks like an up-side down m and the other is closer to an h. I know, as long as I know which is which, that's all that matters. I think it would be cool to put the stuff in the correct side though.

    Does anyone know? :dunno:

    I just checked mine and it has a S and a U on it. That particular one is square, not the usual round design. On the round design ones I have it seems both sides have a little grease in them. Now I am wondering too.

    One side is for the right stuff, what's left goes in the other side :lmfao:

    If I'm not mistaken the Russians would mix oil and gasoline (or diesel) so when they cleaned their guns the action would not gum up in the severe cold. I doubt it would matter which side you put the oil/solvent in.

    I found my answer on Buymilsurp.com.

    Щ => Щелочное решение = alkaline solution
    Н => Нефть = oil

    Guess I should have trusted the Google in the first place, but ingunowners is the first place I thought of! :bowdown:
