Been watching this one for a couple of days an was suprised it didn't attract more attention. Except for the [SA] it appears to be is as it was when it left the factory.

Well my latest Mosin has finally arrived at my doorstep and all I can say my fellow Finn Fanatics is you are all going to be a little disapointed.........................

I have spent the last 90 minutes going over this gun and it is indeed 100% matching, all Izhevsk parts, and I do not believe the stock has been tamper with by the Finns in anyway, this rifle is as it left the Izhevsk arsenal.

BTW, I have a Mosin made by Tula, hex receiver, 1932, mint condition stock, all matching numbers except the bayonet. Got it at Bradis last year, only hex receiver they had. I'm very lucky I have one. Plan on getting a beater Mosin and putting a bulpup stock on it for ****s and giggles.

It's hard to find anything with any age on it that isn't too unaltered. Good find.

The original stock on mine is still in pretty good shape, but with a little time and love you can make most of those old stocks look really good.
