I've got mosquitoes already.. I use mosquito torpedoes. It's an enzyme that won't let the large form a skin. Past threads on this and different opinions. They work for me and that's all I care. Thereabout 20.00 for a 3 month supply and there other various brands found at farm stores. I'm counting on the cold weather to slow them down before I can buy more. They come with the fly predators we buy for fly control.

I personally haven't used any granules, but I've had good luck with some sprays. Just throw it in the sprayer on the back of the tractor and hit the yard and side field and that usually takes care of them for a good while. Let me know how the granules work for you though, I'd be up for trying something different.
