motorcycle flat track race from Kentland, IN

I've shot mx off and on for over 40 years, but yesterday was my first flat track race. I wanted to capture a cool shot of a bike in a power slide with a big rooster tail. this was the pic of the day;



they will be back there again on September 23rd. here's some more;

Got a couple rooster tails on the Screaming Eagle Friday evening. Ride it or wreck it. More gas please.

Then Saturday I drove the Snapper on top of the bird bath, knocking over the blessed Mary. I'll stick to bikes, they're safer.

A pool buddy of mine used to flat track a bunch. Now he mostly just fixes up older racing Triumphs and sells 'em. He's 71 now and is going to do some trials.

Our father wore a hot shoe when he had time off when when we were growing up. One of my sons has inquired about pulling my dads XR's out
and give it a go.
I told him like our father told us, walls hurt boys. lol
