I came across an old D.N.R. fisheries report that cited an attempt to control Bluegill populations in Middlefork by releasing Muskies there, but that the program was discontinued due to a lack of interest by sport fishermen. According to the report this was done during the 1990s. Would anybody on here who fishes the lake happen to know if there is still a Muskie population in the reservoir, and where (general area) might be a good place to try to catch a few? I've never tried fishing for Pike or Muskie, and always wanted to give it a go. I know Brookville has some and is just down the road, but if I could save on the drive and be fishing sooner, I'd rather fish for them at Middlefork, assuming there are still some to be encountered.
