I got excited for a sec when I saw the price. But then I saw it has a hole misdrilled and needs a new one to mount correctly.
I gotta get me one!!!!!Here is the last piece necessary (for now) to complete my 10/22 M1 Carbine:
MCB-301 - M1 Carbine 38" Rifle Case Padded US Marked Imported
I bought my 10/22 at ABSI this afternoon, will order the parts for conversion shortly. No point in rushing the orders, since as usual NICS hates me.
Actually, I'm waiting for mine to get that "battle field look". I'm sure it will happen with all the range trips it goes on!!!!I forgot to mention, I also replaced the take-down screw with a hex-head take-down screw:
Volquartsen Hex Head Takedown Screw Ruger 10/22, 10/22 Magnum Steel - MidwayUSA
Much easier to dismantle now without worrying about the screwdriver slipping and scratching the stock!

Centerfire Systems has the 10/22 M1 Carbine stocks on sale for $79.99 if anyone cares or is looking for one. 1-800-950-1231 is their number.
I have to agree...I like the reliability of the factory mags as well....I have had the best results from the factory 10 round mags vs. any other brand, (even the expensive ones). You will love the Tri-Mag, they work great.
Ok guys, we need to get together and have a 10/22 M1 shoot...
I dunno, maybe sometime in June? Just have to pick a convienient range (kinda in the middle for everyone) Let's work on it!!!!!Sounds like fun! When & where?
