I missed what you used for a bolt? I'm interested in something similar but would like to go locked breach. I've got a couple of .45 suppressors that aren't being used for anything else and a .45 AR might be just the thing.

Sorry....forgot to mention the bolt in my list. I am using the QC10 .45ACP Glock Cut BCG

it looks great but how does she run? is it ammo sensitive? any hiccups? I have been considering a 45 build for a while but like you said not a lot of info here.

She runs good. Initially, it liked some ammo more than others, but now seems to be settling in to running about anything. I did have to open up the ejection port a bit with a dremmel as the standard AR upper ejection port was causing a few FTE (due to the size of the .45 casing).

Only other hiccup is the mags. Glock never made an extended .45ACP magazine. So you have to go with aftermarket. A couple of the KCI mags I bought fit too snugly in the mag well so I had to sand them down a bit.

Man I want to build one of those! Then I can get a can for it, then get a threaded barrel for my M&P... Then pay off a divorce attorney! Nice looking build!
