This is my favorite rifle that I own. Got a lot of them. AR’s, AK’s, shotguns, lots of other rifles and pistols. This is my favorite. Made in 1968, a year before I was born. Has a incredibly good trigger, iron sights, and super sexy wood. It is a little beat up, because it has been used, but I just love the way this rifle looks. It has the best factory trigger I have ever shot. I have probably killed 20 deer with it, from 10 yards to 350. This rifle will never leave, until i am dead and then it will keep on killing deer and shooting amazing groups, .75 inch without any work up or trying at all. This is my favorite rifle.

I was eyeing a Model 70 Featherweight in .243 for a while. It sold before I could ruin my marriage for a month. But then I bought a Ruger No. 1, so it worked out....

Fondling my Lyman Great Plains in the blind yesterday. I said 'Hello old friend.' I miss my TC Renegade that my son now has. He shot his first deer with it, and I gave him a choice between keeping it or getting a new one. Damn it I lost my rifle. We went together like peas an carrots.

I'd also have to say it would be my .22. I have Remington 597 Heavy Barrel from my youth that ended the lives of many squirrels. It's been a fun gun to shoot with my kids & wifey, so I have a lot of fond memories with this one.
