I recently acquired my first Smith & Wesson. It's a 3913 single stack 9mm. Just took it to Kodiak and ran 200 rounds through it. Perfect. The single action trigger reset is amazing and the DA is smooth. The gun has a little heft but I prefer that. Shoots great. The sights are set at point of impact which I'm not used to. I like a 6 O'clock hold. I'll have to see what I can do to fix that. Adjustable night sights would be nice.

I've also found out how to disable the magazine safety and might try that.

3913 are very nice, and worth quite a bit I might add. I have a few of the older Smiths and they are all good at doing what they are supposed to.

Nice handgun. I've been on the fence about that model but may have to look into it a bit harder. I normally shoot at a club in Elkhart and haven't made it over to Kodiak. May have to look into that too.

All of the Smith 2nd and 3rd Gens are great shooters. Probably not a more reliable, shoot anything at all, gun out there. Also nice as a hammer in a pinch. ;)

I've owned several S&W "bottom feeders", but just couldn't get myself wrapped around the idea of a auto loader. I've been a revolver fan since I was young (It's what I grew up around). Then I acquired a S&W 4013, which should be very similar to the 3913, it became a lifetime friendship. The 3913 should last you a lifetime.

Nice price on the 6906 and the 5926, which is hard to find. Also $212 for a CZ-83 in .380 is cool. Not happy with you posting that link.

Yeah, combo of springtime (sic) ammo order and upcoming 1500 cause me restraint. Otherwise that 5926 would be nice for my GF & maybe one for me. I realy like the DAO S&Ws since they have a shorter smoother trigger pull, but that decocker would pair well with a camp carbine and a zombie apocalypse.

Wow! Thanks for posting iammo.com. Some real decent prices. Has anyone gotten a gun from there? I am curious about the condition. Some appear to be law enforcement trade ins that tend to have considerable surface wear.

My parents gave me a gift card to buy some grips for this gun today. So I ordered these.
