Was out testing my new krink pistol and testing a couple mods i made on a couple other rifles and after a full day of blowing up watermelons. A guy pulls up and starts setting up to shoot. We start chatting a bit and she shows me a beautiful stainless steel Mini-14. WE talk about the gun and once he felt comfy he shared that it was a lovely NFA fully auto. He took time to show me how the mechanism in the rifle worked and i was very appreciative of the information. Very cool to see first hand. And just as we had wrapped up the conversation and i was about to leave.... He turns to me and says " I dont have much ammo man but if you wanna shoot a few rounds i dont mind". My eyes lit up and once again this turtle moved fast. lol Was a very nice feeling rifle with a wonderful folding stock. And when i pulled that trigger. I cant explain the feeling but it was everything i expected. And i was in awe. If that guy happens to be on here thanks man. That was a blast. BTW. I got it on video lol

I'm stuck in catch 22 land, If I pay for the license, I won't have any money for ammo.

I'm going out on a limb and presuming that you're misinformed...

There is no "license" to be had (unless you're manufacturing and/or selling).

You can BUY any appropriate weapon you want, do the $200 tax stamp... And then have no money for ammo. And no, it's not a yearly $200 tax. And no, The Man cannot come to your home at any time to "inspect" the weapon/s.
