I haven't been out to BBurg in years. I was thinking take 56th from Lafayette Rd and you're just below all the businesses. I totally forgot about 74 dropping you right there too. D'oh!

PMPORTER, not a problem. I was confused for a second. :):

FBI Safe Streets was already tailing them, perhaps they will take it federal and they can spend some time in big boy jail. When those guys are in on it, its usually either Hobbs Act eligible.

That Steak&Shake is just above I-74 and 267 is it not. 86th /56th/I-74 all run right through there.

Oddly enough my wife was wondering how I never paid attention to/noticed the steak & Shake before. So thanks to her, I now know that, yes, it is just north of the I-74 exit there at 267. My nephew worked there last year.

If you watch the video link. We get the almost usual statement. "Up until recently, their lives were all on the right track".
I'm sure these are upstanding young men that were just trying to survive. Purple please on my last statement.

+1 to the young lady who texted an officer about the robbery in progress btw. Not a huge fan of texting, but I certainly see some value in it now.

Wow, I work in B'burg and have frequented that restaurant. It seems like this stuff is following me around these days. The second to last thing I want to do is shoot someone. The last thing I want to do is be seriously hurt or die because I didn't shoot someone.

Texted an officer she knew or is there a special number to text too?
    Can you text to 911?

One never knows, it may come in handy to know of such a number/capabilty if it exists.

I saw these jerks had a future if they just worked at it........Guess work is not important anymore if you can just threaten others at gunpoint and take their stuff.....A$$ bags.

The article states she texted an officer.
At that time, a Brownsburg police officer got a text from someone inside, stating the restaurant was being held up.
I am also not sure on 911 texting

I'm guessing she knew the officer. Not all that unusual in a town like Brownsburg. Still small enough to know folks.

+1 to BPD for rounding them up.

A friend's son hangs out there after practice a couple of nights a week. Not that night, luckily.
