I just picked up a RIA tactical in 9mm for the same price.
You'll love shooting it. I put 50 rounds through mine on Saturday, not a single malfunction.
Frame to slide fit on mine is great, no slop.

That's interesting about the fit, the only RIA's I've ever handled had a lot of rock to the slide. I was steered away from RIA 1911's because of it.

Me too! Sent mine back to Armscor and now it is smooth as butter. Mine is a government model. Paid $365.00 for it about 3 years ago. Was very pleased with their customer service!

Thanks fellas! I will give a range report as soon as I get there! No slop at all in the slide to frame. He came with two mags also. 750? Ouch. Not too bad I guess. Got to love the 1911. Have a glock but there is something about the nostalgia of a 1911.
