A good price for a head banging smiley face? Not really...

[EDIT]: Nevermind, the link wasn't there at all the first time I looked. Looks like a nice piece, how's the fit between the frame and slide?

Fit is perfect. Smooth as can be. Can't wait to shoot it.

Oh, it also came with some PNC range ammo for free.

Very nice! I love my RIA Govt. Tactical now. Had a few issues at first, but a trip back to Armscor solved those and it's been great ever since, even with hollowpoint ammo.

That's interesting about the fit, the only RIA's I've ever handled had a lot of rock to the slide. I was steered away from RIA 1911's because of it.

She's a beaut, Clark! Tossing back & forth between a Glock & a 1911 for next purchase & seriously considering the RIA. Love to hear your thoughts after a trip to the range. Congrats!

Me too! Sent mine back to Armscor and now it is smooth as butter. Mine is a government model. Paid $365.00 for it about 3 years ago. Was very pleased with their customer service! :twocents:

Thanks fellas! I will give a range report as soon as I get there! No slop at all in the slide to frame. He came with two mags also. 750? Ouch. Not too bad I guess. Got to love the 1911. Have a glock but there is something about the nostalgia of a 1911.
