I think the Glock format is perfect for that kind of application, especially if you own 9mm Glocks.

33rnds at your disposal, plus the interchangeability with your Glock sidearm...Priceless!

She is a 9mm Glock version. I own a G27, but I'm thinking it's time to get a G19 just so I can interchange the mags. Here in a few weeks at the 1500, I'll look for some 33rd mags. I can't wait to tear through the 50 rds that came with her this weekend with the guys! I told them to bring some 9mm ammo and we'll break her in reallllll good haha.

There was a guy running one at FNS a few months ago, but the rear sight fell off part way through. He kept going just using the front sight. He was also shooting a revolver.
