Had to share my recent good fortune.
A friend recently told me about a elderly gentleman that was going to sell off his reloading equipment. After a few attempts, I was able to make contact with the gentleman and go look at the equipment.

Dillon .45 ACP caliber conversion kit
8 extra primer pick up tubes/ extra tips
    RCBS case trimmer
    RCBS beam scale
Lyman No. 55 powder measure (the older orange one)
MEC 700 Versamec shot shell loader
750 pieces of .38 Special brass
    250 pieces of .357 brass
400 pieces of .45 ACP brass

    Good haul.
Pops just scored a T mag for $70. Needs minor cleanup.
Been looking for one LOL............dunno if I can wrangle it away.........he collects presses.
    Has at least 60.
    Odd dude he is.

The old Ideal/Lyman 55 is a good one. Liked the old one I had. Traded a chrome beam Herters scale for it.
Grew up using an OHaus scale. Pops just got another in the box...........for something like $30.

This sounds like the same deal Lovemywoods and I found a few years ago. Congratulations on a great find!

    Wow, that's a smok'n good deal.
With the 550 only being 3 years old, you know the guy knew what all the stuff was worth.
You better send him a belated Christmas card!

I was prepared for him to put a price on everything and then me to counter offer. When he threw out the $450 price, I just retch for my wallet.
Talked to him a few weeks ago, and he was showing me a spotless, beautiful, 2001 Chevrolet 2500 HD Chevrolet Silverado Z71 4x4 with 27,000 original miles, that he just sold to his neighbor for $15,000.
