I don't know your lifestyle, so my advice is worth less than .02, BUT if you really do want suggestions...

What should I keep, what should I sell, what should I add?

    1. Ruger 10/22, 22lr. Purpose: plinking
[STRIKE]2. CZ 452, Military Training Rifle, 22lr. Purpose: Hunting, practicing.[/STRIKE]
    3. Spike's Tactical, AR-15 Mid-length. Purpose: Home defense.
[STRIKE]4. Thompson Center Icon, 243. Purpose: Varmint hunting.[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]5. Thompson Center Icon 7mm-08, Special Edition 250 made. Purpose: To give to my daughter when she's old enough if she wants to hunt.[/STRIKE]
    6. Thompson Center Venture, 280. Purpose: Go to hunting rifle.
    [STRIKE]7. Winchester 670, 270. Purpose: Backup hunting rifle.[/STRIKE]
    8. CZ 527 Carbine, 7.62 x 39. Purpose: General purpose rifle.
    [STRIKE]9. Savage 99, 308. Purpose: I love to pick it up.[/STRIKE]
    10. Hi Point 995 Carbine, 9mm. Purpose: Truck gun.
    11. Handi Rifle, custom, bull barrel, two pound trigger, 357 Maximum. Purpose: Driving tacks.

    Leaves you:
    A good .22 for plinking/practice/hunting
    A home defense
    Your primary hunting
    General purpose/hunting backup
Truck gun -- do you need a 9mm rifle, or could a long barrel revolver fit this bill?
Single shot -- fun and left on just so you wouldn't go into shock

    Add:
Shotgun (unless you're putting shotguns in a separate category)
A lever action in your preferred hunting caliber

I'm reporting this post to the mods. Surely suggesting I sell most of my guns and don't use the money to buy other guns MUST be some kind of violation of site rules. If it's not, it should be.

    Dross,

My first thought when looking through your list was; 10 different calibers in 11 rifles, that seems like it would be a headache of a collection to stock up on ammunition for.

I will quote you rather than the rather hateful advice that you were given. The guy should at least lose his man card.

I wouldn't change a thing, unless hunting large elk or brown bears are in your future. Got a good mix there and a use for everything.

If the .357 Max barrel is too heavy for hunting, then and other .357 Max barrel for IN deer would be my next purchase... unless you have other plans for an IN deer rifle?

Buy an m1 carbine great guns easy enough for kids to use then save some extra cash and move up to an m1 garand. Ps you still need a 1911 amazing guns... I know the list is long and little money but they are a must have.

Hey, in my defense... you did ask... and I did suggest two additions. Also you can take all the extra $$$ and buy lots of ammo and accessories! :ar15: :):

Now if you'll excuse me... I need to go try and get my man-card back...
