Always a dangerous thing to do, cash in hand + seller's remorse = rebound purchase!
Never heard nor seen these. Does having these mean no carrying after Labor Day?

i do not know which day. 3/22/12 at 5pm. took me a while to post, cause this site would not load for what seemed like a few days.
i heard someone say they were parade grips. i just think they look nice and are different. i have been thinking about doing some polishing on the slide release and decocker, white and chrome always looks good together.Always a dangerous thing to do, cash in hand + seller's remorse = rebound purchase!

i do have a problem with this gun. the rear sight had a allen head screw in it. completely stripped out when i tried to remove it. i then drilled it and wore out my drill bit. screw still in it, and i can not get it out. wont be a real problem till i order the night sights for it. just figured i would get some ideas from you guys.
according to smith and wesson the screw has to be removed. just what they told me.Wait why did you remove that screw? You can tap the sights out with a brass punch.
You haven't truly experienced Smith 3rd Gen love until you try out a 4506, 4566, 4516 or 457. They are so reliable they will cycle empty brass...no kidding! I love all my Smiths be they 2nd or 3rd gen.

if you have done it then i would be willing to give it a try. but i will not mess with it till i get some replacement sights. i learned the hard way already.Huh. I really don't know why that screw is there, but with blamecharles' guidance through text I punched out my rear sight with a brass punch and hammer. No biggie!

Though the 4506-1, CS45 and 4553TSW are happier then I feed them full cases.

And when you REALLY want to love the S&W 3G, try out the 1006 and 1066 in full power 10mm!
