    A little too tacticool for my tastes, do you really need a foregrip and folding stock on a rifle that long?

    ha ha ha! you guys are brutal, to each his own! it fires great, i like it. my first little rifle project, i wanted to get my feet wet with the cold bluing, and learn some things about customizing a rifle before i decide to invest in the AR platform. but, i like it :)

    Personally, I think it looks great. Did you polish the bolt yourself?

    I have a few SKS's in different configurations, but not with this stock. I like it.

    I think with a little more time spent on it, it would look like it was chromed. I got the idea from a youtube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tmv6uuuPVWc

    The cold bluing was a learning experience. Heat is the key, i used a heat gun when i should have used a blow dryer. Getting the parts too hot caused a oily finish, i had to strip a couple parts back down and start over.
