Safelite will come to you. They replaced the windshield in my truck a couple years ago in my driveway while I stood and watched. It was in insurance claim though, so I'm not sure how their prices are.

If you have comprehensive insurance, check with your insurance company. I know when we had Progressive, they sent out Safelight for a no-deductable repair.

If it is really cold outside, wait for a warm day. Had the wife's minivan windshield changed a couple of years ago and it was really (10-15) cold that day. Never did seal up correctly and had to be replaced. Don't know if the Tech didn't use the right adhesive or if the sealant didn't set up right????
