What are the thoughts on the Nagant pistol? For the price they look pretty nice I don't know the price of ammo but it would be cool to have one to go with a Mosin rifle.

    So are they any good?

They are great. I own 1 and it out shoots my dads ruger mkII. It is a gas chamber seal revolver so you can put a silencer on it also. And it is silent no sound at all.

Ammo is not overly expensive, but not always the easiest to find (7.62x38r).

Very fun to shoot, but double action shooting takes two hands with the Nagant pistol for some folks. The stupid thing has like a 12 lb trigger pull. No kidding!

One thing's for sure, you won't accidently pull that trigger.

Well worth the money, in my opinion.

It does look cool. It took a few mins to find that 7.62x38r ammo but looks like about $23 for 50 rounds plus shipping so not much diff then 38 ammo my buddy shoots.

Just a awesome piece of history.

I just got one a few weeks ago. Where do you get your ammo?

BTW, does anyone know the secret inclosing the bloody holster? I strain and strain, and I can't get that leather strap to the pin to close it.
