Looking to purchase a 45 cal. handgun, but I need a layaway program in indiana. Anybody know of any?

I agree. I've been to many gun shops and they have offered lay away programs. Even Gander Mountain has lay away. Please post your location and posters may be able to better assist you in finding a gun shop.

What is your intended budget? There are a lot of good .45's out there, however, the price range is pretty wide.

the ruger p345 is an inexpensive .45

i hate to say it but the Ruger P345 is not a very reliable gun...but the P90 is king! simple 1911 style operation, 4.5 inch barrel and Ruger's only model with a metal frame (one model has steel, the other aluminum)...ultra reliable and poa accuracy....it sells for about 100$ more than the 345...

i hate to say it but the Ruger P345 is not a very reliable gun

Sorry, but I would love to know why you say this. I have been carrying my P345 for about 5 years now, it's got about 4,500 rounds through it with no fail to feed or fail to fire. Eats everything I feed it, goes bang every time, and will put as many as you want to put down range into a paper plate at 10 yds.

They are kinda high though. In some cases higher than Kiesler's/Orion.

Beech Grove Firearms has a layaway program. I bought a Taurus PT145 from there a year ago. It is a sub-compact .45 cal, with a double stack 10 round mag. Solid gun, no issues, easy to conceal and has stopping power.
