Need Help with flash hider removal

I have a S&W MP 15-22 with the flash hider on a threaded barrel. I really need to unscrew the darn thing and just can not get it.

I know it should just come off.... use heat... yeah yeah yeah.

Does anyone close to Avon have a barrel clamp or some sort of rig to hold the barrel that they would let me use for a couple minutes?

Will a standard AR upper block set work on the 15-22? If so I have one you can use in the Clermont area.
