I have a Glock that has been Duracoated. It holds up great. Theres a ton of options out there, I have only experienced Duracoat. If I had to do it again, I would choose Duracoat without a question.

Robar will apply their excellent NP3 finish to the slide, barrel and internal parts for 80 bucks (slide only for 65). The NP3 finish is a french grey in color and is an extremely durable finish. I had it applied to my 1911 competition 38 Super and after about 80,000 rounds and thousands of draws it shows zero wear.
