So I was gonna take my youngest to the steel match at Riley today, but turns out he's still to small to shoot rifle off the bench. Need to buy him a youth sized stock.
Any one know where to get one?
    Thanks

I have a synthetic stock that you can have if you want to try cutting down the stock.

Do you need one that is shorter than the original 10/22 stock? That's the same length that comes on the compact version now (I have one), and the current 10/22 rifle and carbine stocks are little longer than they used to be.

A good idea would be to get a TAPCO stock like mine with the AR-style collapsible stock. They're incredibly light, and you can adjust the length as he grows.

And if you had told me, he could have shot my rifle today!!!

    Thanks for the reply's, guys.
repair- Thank you for the kind offer!
Rhino- I had almost forgotten about the tapco collapsable stock. Do you have the straight one or the angled one with some drop in it? How much shorter is it than my 26 year old ruger factory stock.
    Thanks again
