So I'm laid up at home this week recouperating from foot surgery.

What should I watch on Netflix?

I've seen Daredevil and am more than halfway through Jessica Jones.

Arrested development doesn't interest me in the slightest.

    Thanks!

Also, I really liked Hell on Wheels, Seaquest DSV, and the Star Trek series. Also Sons of Anarchy.

And can't forget the a team, macgyver, and the Andy Griffith show. (which is my all time favorite show)

    Edit: Revolution is good too.

In memory of the very recent passing of the great Glenn Frey, check out "History of the Eagles."
It's a particularly good choice for your application because it's over three hours long.

Oh my Dad can't get enough Hell on Wheels. I've never watched it though so I can't personally comment. IMHO, he would have every kind of gun in the show if my Mom would let him.

There's a good documentary of the history of Navy SEALs. Also there was one about Evander Holyfield which I enjoyed. Also, Bigger Faster, Stronger was a docudrama about steroids. Enjoyed that too.

If you're a sports junkie, find the ESPN 30 for 30 series, there are some really good ones on there.

The above posters all offered good suggestions. Find old TV shows you like, I watched all of Quantum Leap, Highlander the Series, LOST (maybe that was Hulu, don't remember). I am currently watching Revolution, too, and it's good, but has some sketchy gun handling. I won't spoil it, but you should know it when you see it.

Do you also have a Hulu subscription?

If you're into murder mysteries then I'd recommend Poirot or Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries.

Last Man Standing is a good sitcom.

Hell on Wheels is good show (fictional drama) about the building of the trans-continental railroad after the civil war.

If you haven't watched Breaking Bad, that is an excellent series. The first couple of shows had us wondering, but we got hooked and had to watch the whole series. It was excellent.

Making a Murderer was pretty good too.

Just finished watching "History of the Eagles," and enjoyed it greatly.
It was particularly interesting hearing the actual audio of Glenn Frey and Don Felder going back and forth threatening each other, then Glenn finally threatening to actually kill Felder.
I would also put down a vote for the original "Twilight Zone" series.
Can't go wrong there, especially with the first three seasons.

This is one of the best movies I have seen in a while...The gun stuff is correct...Guy tries to find a gun so he goes to the parking lot of a bar and looks for a vehicle with an NRA sticker...You have to really be watching to catch it...A thinking person's revenge flick that hooks you in the first five minutes.....

    Also Cartel Land is excellent...Excellent.....

Also Old Pink is right about the history of the Eagles...I had no idea Glenn Frey was playing with Bob Seger when he was 15 and is on, I believe" the studio version of "Rambling Man".....A great documentary....
