Just be aware when you have to do something with your shooting hand while holding the gun. Give both equal attention. Could be a good training exercise.
I have a Smith & Wesson model 19 that I inherited from my father. He bought it at the sheriffs office where it was up for sale by a deputy who was leaving the department. The reason he was leaving the department is because he had used that hand gun to accidentally shoot a hole in the dash from inside the patrol car. He then exited the car and shot several more holes into the vehicle, and tried to convince the sheriff that he had come under fire from some unknown person. The sheriff at that time had one arm, but he had a fully working brain, and it did not take him long to figure out what really happened.
