INGO: My new Curio & Relic FFL lisence showed up in the mail on Saturday!! Been waiting for it for the last 4 weeks and doing some investigation on what to buy first. I have a Mosin 91/30 hex 1933 Izzy already but was wondering what the INGO community would suggest for my first purchases? Give me your thoughts, I am open to both rifles and handguns.
    Thanks! :ingo:

Welcome to the club. My first purchase was a TT-33 and Yugo Mauser. Mosins are always a good bet to. AimSurplus and J&G sales are both great places to buy from. SurplusRifle.com has a good online C&R store list to send copies of your license to. I also have a social group called the Cruffler's Club you can join.

Thanks for the advise. Just got back from Menards with a new gun safe. They have the small 10 gun model on sale for $77. I needed another one anyway. This week I'll be sending my FFL copies to the various vendors out there and see what discount, etc. that they offer.

OK... here's my list. I have C&R copies sitting at:
Welcome to Southern Ohio Gun Distributors, Inc.
    Home Page
    The EMPIRE ARMS web-site
    http://www.gunsnammo.com/ (99% Finn M39's, also a few 91-30 and M38 once in a while)
brocks I watch this one but never bought anything there yet
AIM Surplus Home <--- absolutely awesome guys to deal with
Welcome to Samco Global Arms, Inc.
Sarco, Inc., Firearms, Firearms Parts and Accessories
    Impact Guns Home
    Classic Arms Inc.
Simpson Ltd. - Collectors Firearms - Simpson Ltd. - Collectors Firearms

You can also get a discount at Brownells and Midway for having an FFL. I forget which is which, but one of them all I had to do was make an account (they never even asked for an uploaded copy). Once you create an account with them, when you log it in, you'll see the discount kick in. I'm pretty sure there are others, but those are the only two I really plink with.

Weird.... I didn't do prints either. I think you do need them for an 01 FFL but not for an 03. My info is a year old though and things do change...
