New carry gun

[CW9]

So I posted a thread awhile back about getting a new carry gun. Well I finally got one. Its a Springfield Micro Compact 1911. Not in a millions years would I thought I would've owned one. As I am a Glock and Kahr fan, I was set on a G23 too, until I found this. It felt so nice in my hands I had to buy it.

I also sold my CW9 so I still will probably get a G23 too , but thought I would share my new carry gun.

How does it compare to the carry weight and thickness of the CW9?

1911 is the way to go. I've tried others but just keep coming back to the 1911. Congratulations. It's a great looking piece!

Do urself a favor and check out the Glock 36, a pleasure to carry!! Congrats on the new carry CW9 good looking weapon. For some reason i'm a little concerned with that short a barrel on a 1911 pistol. Shoot it many times before you carry,, please!!

How does it compare to the carry weight and thickness of the CW9?

It's not that much wider if any compared to the CW9. The weight is a lot more but it does not bother me. Didn't even notice the difference when I was carrying it around today.
