Seeking any trustworthy individual(s) for a block club in the St Clair Place neighborhood of Indy's near east side. I'm on good rapport with the crime watch specialist, Steve Talley, who i'm sure will back up this initiative 100%.
If there would be 2 others who are willing to volunteer a little time, say 1/2 hour per week, to share any neighborhood crime concerns, and assume any one of the required roles-"block captain", "victim assistant", or "hospitality person" PM me and i'll give you the details of what these terms mean. There are several established block clubs in the area already, however there still remains a need for more. Only 1 meeting per year is required but there are monthly meetings held in an elementary school in the Brookside Park neighborhood anyone can attend if you would like to get a general idea of what i'm talking about, or here is a link to the online info of what's involved. Since there haven't been any responses yet, I'm taking it no out there either lives near the area or doesn't care to join up. I'll continue with the effort somewhere else. Thanks for any of those who took the time to consider volunteering.

I live in warren park...I received a letter about a warren park/irvington meeting the other day but couldn't make. I have been doing crime watch for two years that I have been here. I Had a couple people arrested and a few ran out of the neighborhood. I only want to join if I can officially use excessive force, plus I want a tazer. I also need immunity from criminal prosecution! I wanted to be a warren park deputy, but I would abuse my power! **** around on my street once and you won't want to come back!!

I like your show of chutzpah on this and it sounds like we're in the same boat, but different neighborhoods. I would have to ask you what you mean when you say "excessive force". As far as the tazer, I wouldn't think there would be any problem with you carrying one around. I would also carry one if need be. Send me a PM if further if you would like to discuss this further please.
