New Glock...mag release.

Just got a G 19 gen 3. Got it used but unfired. I think I am going to carry this gun. I like the size and feel. Still need to shoot it but from what I hear that will not be a problem.

I can tell I will need to put on a new mag release. The original feels a bit awkward.

Any suggestions on which one?

Also the mag does not spring out with much umpf...is this a spring issue or just needs some use? Anyone know? A little grease?

I had a Gen 2,19 that I had Bradis install and extended mag and slide release on.Just the standard Glock brand and pretty inexpensive.The mag release was too long so, I watched a few videos on youtube,took it out and sanded it down some to my liking.Pretty easy part to install yourself and all the plastic ones work about the same. I had the mag drop issue also but it was with older mags.

for edc, be careful of the mag release being too long and releasing when you sit or buckle your seat belt or a nasty little 5 year old girl runs up to you.
